MAY 7 – Passed the Extra test. I am now KF7SFU A/E . Might be time for a vanity call, maybe not I like this one.
APR 17 – got the Cobweb up and tuned. It is so much better than the hamstick dipole. I heard Italy and Croatia, worked Serbia so far. Will probably work better when I get it over 20 Ft.
APR 16 – My MFJ 259 B bit the dust. A big time short and a black patch on the mother board. It will not power up even with fresh batteries. So I posted on the local board I was wanting a new antenna tester and wandered into a Rig Expert AA-230 ZOOM for a really good deal. I am the proud owner of said analyzer. I should have gotten one years ago!!!
