Quandary

OK. I have a decision to make. I have a Kenwood TS-440S that needs some love. I already have a couple of hours into labor on it and about $100.00 in parts. Got it and a pile of of stuff for $300. Do I keep it as a backup even though I have an 817nd, and an IC-718 fresh out of the box ?

Something you need to know, the circumstances are a little weird. The guy who sold it to me, has called back to see how it’s going. Now that’s a little weird to me, I have always said” buyer beware” and not contacted the purchaser directly. Set me on guard , with a what do you want now? I had to replace some parts.

Okay so buyer beware for me. It was to good to be true and I should have realized it. Basically I screwed myself, Should have paid more attention to the story and approached it from a skeptical angle. But no sense kicking my self. Think I’ll put it on ebay and sell it for parts, Make what I can and get out from under it.
